A Nordic-inspired circular yoke pullover, constructed from the bottom up in the round. Careful shaping in the yoke and multiple sets of short rows insure a good fit. Shown here with a mock turtleneck, the sweater has instructions for a range of necklines from crew to cowl.

Pullover shown measures 40” (102 cm); modeled with 6” (15 cm) of positive ease.

Yarn
Hudson + West Co. Forge: MC raven (black), 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 8) skeins; CC1 fawn (natural beige), CC2 ash (natural gray) and CC3 charcoal (natural dark gray), 1 skein each.

Needles
Size A (for body and sleeves): US 7 (4.5 mm)
Size B (for ribbing): US 5 (3.75 mm)
Size C (optional—for tubular cast on): US 4 (3.5 mm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions
Stitch markers (m); waste yarn; tapestry needle.

Gauge
20 sts and 24 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in single color stockinette on Size A needle.
23 sts and 24 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in charted pattern on Size A needle.
