LAMPLIGHT wraps your ears in warmth with a generous double-thickness brim crowned with a cascade of sumptuous cables.

OVERVIEW: Lamplight begins with a provisional cast on and a double-layered hem to add structure and warmth where it’s needed. Increases flow out of the ribbing to produce the cable pattern.

1 skein sport weight Cashmere People Cashgora (100% Handspun Cashgora; approximately 260-359 yds/100g)
Sample used approximately 290 yds of a 341 yd skein
Shown in colourway Tabac spun by Gulbegim

GAUGE
34 stitches and 31 rounds = 4” in charted stitch pattern on Main Fabric Needle
44-stitch motif measures 5 1/8” wide

NEEDLES
Main Fabric Needle: One 16” circular needle and one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauge
Suggested size: US 4 (3.5 mm)
Hem Needles: Two 16” circular needles three sizes smaller than Main Fabric Needle
Suggested size: US 1 ½ (2.5 mm)
Turning Row Needle: One circular or DPNs one size larger than Hem Needle
Suggested size: US 2 (2.75 mm)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge

TOOLS
Blunt tapestry needle, stitch markers, cable needle, crochet hook, small amount of smooth fingering weight waste yarn
