La Coupole (Soft) is a light-as-air layer of warmth with a pleasing dome shape. This version of the pattern was created for the soft structure and bloom of the CaMaRose Snefnug yarn. If you are looking to use a denser yarn with more structure please see the other version of the pattern, La Coupole (Structured).

One size, to fit average adult-size head

YARN

1 skein CaMaRose Snefnug (55% baby alpaca, 35% cotton, 10% extra fine merino wool; 120 yards/ 50 g) Shown in color Lysbeige (7314)

Yarn available from Fiber of Maine or check your local stockist

GAUGE
17 stitches and 24 rounds = 4” in Seeded Rib pattern on larger needle

NEEDLES
Main Fabric Needle: One 16” or 20” circular and one set double-pointed or long circular for magic loop. Suggested size: US 10 (6.0 mm)
Ribbing Needle: One 16” or 20” circular two sizes smaller than gauge needle
Suggested size: US 8 (5.0 mm)

FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Circumference at Brim: 17 ½“
Length: 7 ¾”
