Burning Love Earwarmer

$5.00

The Burning Love Earwarmer takes its name from that of the traditional Bavarian motif used in the center of the piece. The shaping is modeled on the calf gussets of Bavarian knitted stockings. It is worked back and forth in flat knitting with stitches twisted on every row to form the pattern. Small but very warm, the earwarmer folds up easily in a pocket or a bag, ready to keep your ears toasty whenever you need it.

This pattern includes instructions for both a fingering weight and a dk version of the earwarmer. Only one needle size is required for each version. Smaller needle indicates recommended size for fingering weight version, and larger size is for a dk version. Sport weight yarns could also be used; as ever, try a sample to see if you like the result.
