Harley

Harley is a relaxed, top-down round yoke sweater with a simple two-color motif, and a loose, swingy silhouette. The yarn used is in the samples knits up on a large needle but produces a relatively dense gauge (see more notes about yarn below). Adjust the sleeve or body length to customize your own fit.

SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

FINISHED SIZE 34¾ (39½, 44¼, 49, 53¾, 58¼, 63, 67¾)" / 88.5 (100.5, 112.5, 124.5, 136.5, 148, 160, 172) cm bust circumference,

Ease guidelines: Choose 3–4" larger than your bust size for a tailored fit, or more than 4" larger for a relaxed fit.

Shown in size 2 (brown sample) modeled with 3 ½"/8.75 cm positive ease and in Size 3 (gray sample) modeled with 8¼"/20.75 cm positive ease.

CaMaRose Snefnug (55% baby alpaca, 35% cotton, 10% extra fine merino wool; 120 yards/ 50 g)

For Main Color (MC): 7 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12) skeins, or 740 (805, 880, 985, 1055, 1195, 1320, 1440) yards of bulky weight yarn

For Contrast Color (CC): 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2) skein(s), or 85 (90, 95, 100, 105, 120, 130, 130) yards of bulky weight yarn

NEEDLES

Main Fabric Needle/Colorwork Needle: US 10 (6.00 mm): 16" / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm circular, and DPNs, if pre-ferred for small circumference knitting.

Ribbing Needle: US 8 (5.0 mm): 16" / 40 cm and 32" / 80 cm circular, and DPNs, if preferred for small circumference knitting.

GAUGE

17 sts and 24 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking

17 sts and 20.5 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in two-color stockinette stitch on Colorwork Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking

NOTE: Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. For colorwork sections it may be necessary to use a larger OR smaller needle than your Main Fabric Needle.
