CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
Gell is a textured raglan tunic knit in pieces from the bottom up with a vented hem, deep turn-back cuffs and a generous turtleneck collar. The pattern features a compound raglan construction for an improved fit. The body and sleeves are worked flat and seamed using mattress stitch. The collar is picked up after assembly and worked in the round. Optional instructions are given for a tubular cast on and bind off to add a refined edge to your piece.

This garment is intended to be worn with 6–10” / 15 – 25 cm of positive ease
Garment shown is size C modeled with 7” / 18 cm positive ease.

Harrisville Nightshades/Daylights (DK weight) 85% Cormo Wool; 15% wool/250 yards per 100 g skein

6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10) skeins, or 1280 (1400, 1550, 1705, 1870, 2095, 2280, 2500) yards of DK weight yarn

Main Fabric Needle: US 7 (4.50 mm): 16” and 32” circular
Ribbing Needle: US 5 (3.75 mm): 16” and 32” circular
Collar Needle: US 6 (4.00 mm) (or one size larger than Ribbing Needle): 16” circular
Cast On Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm): 32” circular
Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

20 sts and 26 rows = 4” / 10 cm in charted pattern on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking
