CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
Flynn is a simple but effective cable pattern, easy to memorize but impressive in the finished piece. Pattern includes instructions for a long scarf and a wider wrap. The 2x2 Rib Hem flows into the cable pattern with a combination of increases and decreases for a subtle but sophisticated finish. Instructions are both written and charted making this pattern ideal for knitters who are new to working cables.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length: 60 (72)“ / 152.5 (183) cm
Width: 8 ¼ (12)” / 21 (30) cm

YARN
Harrisville Nightshades/Daylights (DK weight)
85% Cormo Wool; 15% wool
250 yards per 100 g skein
3 (4) skeins or 530 (800) yards of DK weight yarn
Scarf sample shown in Daylights color 8:26
Wrap sample shown in Nightshades color Dashboard

NEEDLES
Main Fabric Needle: US 6 (4.00 mm): 24” circular or straight
Ribbing Needle: US 4 (3.5 mm): 24” circular or straight
Adjust your needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

GAUGE
24 sts and 28 rows = 4” / 10 cm in cable pattern on Main Fabric Needle, after wet-blocking
Exact gauge is not vital. If you prefer a drapier fabric, increase your needles by one size.
